Senior Data and Business Intelligence Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive continuous enhancement of the enterprise data warehouse environment.

• Offer technical guidance by evaluating emerging technologies, setting strategic direction, and implementing best practices for data warehousing, business intelligence, and reporting efforts.

• Supervise and actively engage in the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

• Directly oversee and mentor one or more team members.

• Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to comprehend predictive model and AI outputs, effectively conveying results to clients and stakeholders.

• Collect business requirements and convert them into reporting, dashboard, and data solutions.

• Ensure the accuracy, quality, consistency, and governance of data across reporting and analytics platforms.

• Present insights, trends, and performance metrics to clients and internal leadership in a concise, business-oriented manner.

• Work in partnership with IT, analytics, operations, and business leaders to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Travel for work-related purposes, including practice meetings, company events, and industry conferences, may be required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• Over 6 years of experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, analytics, or enterprise reporting.

• Extensive experience managing and operating within an Azure Fabric enterprise data warehouse environment.

• Advanced technical and managerial expertise with Power BI, encompassing dashboard development, reporting, data modeling, and visualization best practices.

• Proficient in Azure SQL Database and Fabric Data Warehouse.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Entra ID, Azure DevOps including repositories, pipelines, and CI/CD, as well as Microsoft Teams.

• Solid understanding of T-SQL.

• Comprehensive knowledge of data integration and ETL/ELT processes.

• In-depth understanding of data warehouse schema design, including fact and dimension tables.

• Strong expertise in database performance tuning.

• Experience collaborating with teams focused on developing predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions.

• Awareness of data governance and reporting standards.

• Capability to lead multiple simultaneous projects, prioritize tasks, and collaborate across technical and business teams.

• Excellent client relationship management, presentation, and communication skills.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future immigration support or sponsorship from Milliman.
