This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in a wide array of corporate tax functions, encompassing tax provision, compliance, and planning.
• Oversee and/or contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 and associated financial reporting.
• Prepare and assess reconciliations of tax-related general ledger accounts.
• Supervise and coordinate U.S. federal, state, and international tax returns, along with non-income and informational filings with external service providers.
• Aid in the preparation and review of tax return workpapers in line with financial reporting.
• Evaluate state income tax apportionment calculations, state filings, and select pro forma federal returns prepared by external advisors.
• Calculate and prepare quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments.
• Maintain and oversee the global tax compliance calendar in collaboration with third-party providers.
• Collaborate with external advisors on the annual R&D tax credit study, including data gathering, analysis, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Work alongside finance, legal, and external advisors to enhance efficient tax operations and facilitate informed decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant tax experience (public accounting experience is preferred, or a combination of public and private experience).
• Strong understanding of U.S. corporate tax principles.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to research tax laws and exercise sound judgment to arrive at well-reasoned conclusions.
• CPA certification is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with ASC 740 tax provision processes and reporting.
• General knowledge of international tax concepts.
• Proven project and program management abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple complex projects independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong attention to detail and superb organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a knack for cross-functional collaboration.
