Treasury and Tax Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain precise daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow projections

• Manage relationships with banking institutions and oversee the company's bank accounts

• Ensure optimal liquidity levels and the efficient utilization of cash

• Handle foreign exchange risk and hedging activities when necessary

• Ensure adherence to treasury policies, controls, and internal risk management frameworks

• Facilitate funding initiatives and oversee intercompany funding arrangements

• Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, including Corporation Tax, VAT, and PAYE/NIC

• Supervise the preparation, review, and timely filing of tax returns

• Monitor and interpret UK and international tax regulations and provide guidance to senior stakeholders

• Lead initiatives in tax planning

• Serve as the main point of contact with HMRC and other tax authorities

• Cultivate relationships with external tax consultants and auditors

• Assist with transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions

• Support strategic decision-making, financial governance, regulatory adherence, and cash management

⛳️ Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent)

• At least 5 years of experience in a tax and/or treasury position

• Strong comprehension of UK tax regulations and treasury management practices

• Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills

• Effective interpersonal and communication abilities

• Capability to manage multiple stakeholders and perform efficiently under tight deadlines

• Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and process enhancement

• Experience in a professional services or legal industry setting is preferred
