Tax Associate / Tax Clerk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Prepare financial accounting documentation

• Create annual financial reports

• File corporate and personal tax returns

• Act as the main point of contact for clients

• Facilitate communication with tax offices and external tax consultants

• Identify and evaluate complex tax-related issues

• Develop strategic tax solutions for clients

• Leverage knowledge from academic studies and hands-on experience in daily tasks

• Familiarize yourself with modern digital processes and tax advisory tools

• Participate in projects focused on digitization, process enhancements, and innovation

• Collaborate with start-ups, scale-ups, and individual clients

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in a part-time FOM program (LL.B. Tax Law or LL.M. Taxation)

• Previous practical experience in tax advisory services

• Ideally, have completed training as a Tax Clerk (Steuerfachangestellte/r) or possess a comparable qualification

• Alternatively, have one or more years of experience in a corporate environment

• Strong grasp of tax advisory principles and standard firm operations

• Proficient in using DATEV

• Demonstrated interest in technology, digitization, and innovation within tax advisory

• Organized and dependable working style

• Eagerness to pursue professional development and embrace responsibility
