This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Assist markets with tax evaluations and associated tasks
• Address challenges and pinpoint areas for enhancement
• Compute ICMS, ICMS-ST, and IPI taxes
• Submit ancillary tax obligations, such as EFD, GIA-ST, and GIA-SP
• Evaluate tax operations and their implications
• Examine unresolved tax items during the reconciliation process
• Ensure the accurate application of tax rates, benefits, and special tax regimes
• Modify and oversee tax audit frameworks
• Aid in responses to tax audits, notifications, and inquiries from relevant authorities
• Assist with tax evaluations and audits
• Report directly to the Tax Manager
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines
• Proficient in Excel at an intermediate level (required)
• Intermediate proficiency in English is preferred
• Familiarity with ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI, and CIAP taxes
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with SAP TDF is advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities related to taxation, especially ICMS/IPI and ICMS-ST
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of managing multiple tasks within tight deadlines
