This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Engage in a compensated six-week Summer Internship Programme, working four days a week from Monday to Thursday.
• Participate in a group orientation in London during the initial week.
• Receive foundational training in tax.
• Collaborate with seasoned tax professionals on actual client projects.
• Assist in the preparation of tax technical reports.
• Conduct research on various aspects of tax law.
• Draft communications for clients.
• Attend client meetings.
• Work towards objectives set in collaboration with a mentor.
• Prepare and present a final presentation towards the conclusion of the internship.
• Engage in shared learning modules focused on professional skills, networking, and wellbeing.
• Participate in the concluding programme wrap-up in London in the final days.
• Must be in your penultimate year of study and anticipate achieving at least a 2:1.
• Hold at least three A Levels with grades A–C, or the equivalent Scottish Advanced Higher/Higher qualifications.
• Achieve GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grades 9–6, or Scottish National 5 equivalent at grades A or B.
• Demonstrate confidence in working with numbers and possess strong attention to detail.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to comprehend and convey complex information effectively.
• Show curiosity and a readiness to ask questions.
• Display motivation to explore problems and seek solutions.
• Maintain a strong sense of pride in the quality of your work.
• Have a genuine desire to assist clients and support their business success.
• No previous tax study is necessary.
• Pathway to the Graduate Programme is contingent upon achieving a 2:1 degree.
• Paid, practical professional experience within a specialized tax advisory firm.
• Exposure to actual client assignments and tasks usually handled by graduate trainees.
• Acquisition of transferable professional skills and participation in structured learning modules.
