Talent Sourcing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Utilize platforms such as Indeed, FactoryFix, LinkedIn, the ATS, resume databases, and other recruiting tools to search for potential candidates.

• Assess resumes and candidate profiles against predefined position qualifications.

• Identify candidates who fulfill or closely match the skilled-trade experience requirements.

• Execute Boolean, keyword, location, title, skill, and competitor searches.

• Revisit previous applicants and evaluate existing candidate databases.

• Classify and organize qualified candidates into suitable folders, pipelines, and recruiting stages.

• Ensure Recruiters receive a steady stream of qualified candidates for their review and outreach efforts.

• Maintain precise records of candidates, including sourcing information, notes, and dispositions.

• Recognize trends in candidate availability and suggest modifications to search criteria.

• Monitor sourcing activities and results by platform and search.

• Perform limited candidate outreach when necessary or requested to confirm interest or basic details.

• Adjust sourcing priorities in response to changing hiring needs.

• Assist Recruiters during periods of high hiring demand, specifically sourcing Journeyman Welders and Shipfitters.

• Provide qualified candidates to Recruiters instead of managing the entire recruiting lifecycle.

• Success is evaluated based on the number of qualified candidates identified, recruiter acceptance rates, growth of the qualified pipeline, sourcing productivity, effectiveness of sources, data accuracy, and speed to pipeline.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in recruiting, talent sourcing, staffing, recruiting coordination, or a related field.

• Proven ability to search resume databases and identify candidates who meet specified job requirements.

• Experience in sourcing candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, an ATS, resume databases, or comparable recruiting tools.

• Familiarity with Boolean search methodologies.

• Capability to swiftly review resumes and differentiate qualified candidates from those who do not meet minimum criteria.

• Background in skilled trades, manufacturing, construction, industrial, maritime, shipbuilding, or staffing industry recruiting.

• Excellent internet research and candidate-search capabilities.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Ability to independently manage a large volume of candidate profiles and searches.

• Comfortable working in a metrics-driven, fully remote setting.

• Strong written communication capabilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Preferred experience in sourcing Welders, Shipfitters, Pipefitters, Electricians, Mechanics, Machinists, or similar skilled-trade roles.

• Preferred experience in organizing and maintaining high-volume candidate pipelines.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
