Talent Sourcing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Identify and source qualified candidates through job boards, professional networking platforms, internal databases, and social media.

• Engage in outbound outreach to both active and passive candidates via email, phone calls, and messaging applications.

• Conduct initial candidate screenings, which include reviewing qualifications and credentials, prior to handing over candidates to recruiters.

• Develop and sustain talent pipelines for recurring, niche, and high-volume positions.

• Assist recruiters with scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and updating the ATS.

• Ensure accurate and compliant maintenance of candidate records in line with US hiring regulations.

• Provide a positive and professional candidate experience during the initial stages of recruitment.

• Carry out additional tasks as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in recruiting or talent sourcing.

• Background in recruiting for oil & gas, healthcare, or safety-related positions.

• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

• Knowledge of sourcing tools.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and possess general computer and technology skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• High attention to detail when assessing licenses, certifications, and role specifications.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a recruitment team.

• Aptitude for building rapport with candidates and effectively promoting the role.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos.

• Competence in writing correspondence and presenting information clearly.

• Skill in solving practical problems and interpreting written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled instructions.
