Talent Acquisition Strategist, Senior Recruiter

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete recruitment process for exempt, nonexempt, and specialized positions utilizing structured, compliant, and data-driven selection methods.

• Collaborate with business leaders on hiring strategies, workforce planning assumptions, talent market insights, and role development for intricate and strategic roles.

• Provide guidance to hiring managers regarding compensation strategies, interview alignment, offer tactics, and market competitiveness in collaboration with Compensation and People Services leadership.

• Create proactive sourcing and talent pipeline strategies for essential roles, anticipated needs, and growth associated with mergers.

• Leverage recruiting analytics and business metrics to enhance pipeline health, quality of hires, time to fill, sourcing effectiveness, and return on investment in recruiting.

• Ensure a distinctive candidate and new-hire experience by partnering with hiring managers, People team collaborators, and onboarding stakeholders.

• Promote employer branding, employee value proposition (EVP), and talent marketing efforts through recruitment campaigns, social media strategies, and digital talent marketing initiatives.

• Foster talent engagement and pipeline development via community outreach, strategic collaborations with educational and workforce organizations, networking events, and employee referral programs.

• Guarantee that hiring practices adhere to relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and internal governance requirements across various states.

• Track agency utilization, temporary labor activities, and external recruiting expenditures; propose solutions to reduce costs and enhance results.

• Participate in continuous improvement efforts, AI-enabled recruiting capabilities, and process redesign initiatives.

• Represent the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner while safeguarding confidential information.

• Assist with member relations and events that foster member-centric experiences.

• Carry out other related duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in full-cycle recruiting, showcasing success in partnering directly with business leaders on hiring strategies, market insights, and candidate quality.

• Experience in hiring across multiple states and/or in regulated environments.

• Advanced understanding of recruiting trends and strategies, labor market dynamics, candidate assessment design, and compliant hiring practices.

• Familiarity with state (multi-state) and federal employment/labor laws and regulations, including but not limited to EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Titles VII & IX, Affirmative Action, and other DOL regulations, as well as HR policies, practices, and principles.

• Proven understanding of AI-enabled recruiting capabilities and associated governance considerations.

• Exceptional consulting, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to constructively challenge and guide hiring decisions.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with negotiation capabilities to effectively engage, motivate, and influence across organizational levels, stakeholders, candidates, and external partners.

• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

• Strong analytical skills, with comfort in utilizing data to inform recommendations and decisions.

• Advanced skills in interviewing, sourcing, talent assessment, and offer negotiation.

• Capability to manage multiple complex requisitions while ensuring candidate quality and experience.

• High proficiency with ATS/HRIS, LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing tools, reporting tools, and web-based applications.

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Experience recruiting within a mid-to-large financial institution, credit union, banking, mortgage, lending, or a similarly regulated industry is highly preferred.
