Talent Acquisition Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with hiring managers in retail, cultivation, and production to identify and recruit both non-exempt and exempt level positions.

• Assist in implementing standardized interview procedures across multiple state retail dispensaries.

• Open and advertise job vacancies on the careers page and external job boards, while tracking candidate progress in the ATS.

• Source and evaluate candidates, conduct initial phone screenings, and facilitate virtual and onsite interviews with hiring teams.

• Support Regional Managers and Retail Leadership with staffing needs for new store openings.

• Ensure a uniform and positive experience for all candidates.

• Oversee the offer process and pre-employment procedures in collaboration with the Licensing Specialist and HR Operations.

• Collaborate with HR team members to exchange best practices, provide cross-training, and support each other.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to assist HR and Talent Acquisition efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or higher is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, ideally in a retail or production setting.

• Proven experience in recruiting across a multi-location organization and success in a high-volume environment.

• Up-to-date knowledge of recruitment methods and processes, with proficiency in using social media tools, sponsored advertisements, job boards, and industry networking events.

• Familiarity with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse preferred).

• Ability to work effectively with hiring managers at various organizational levels.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively to support business needs.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to discover new sourcing strategies and a willingness to explore innovative approaches.

• A proactive self-starter, ready to take on any task.

• This position requires extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
