Team Staffing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Identify talent for practice management and support staff through various channels, including resume databases, directories, practice websites, social media profiles, and name-generation techniques.

• Create candidate pipelines by executing targeted email campaigns aimed at passive candidates and former applicants.

• Conduct virtual screenings to evaluate technical skills, alignment with the position, and scheduling availability.

• Maintain, enhance, and grow the Lever candidate database/CRM.

• Provide insights on labor-market trends and conduct research in collaboration with the Recruiting Team.

• Work alongside the Recruiting Team to enhance workflow efficiency, improve work quality, and increase lead conversion rates.

• Assemble initial teams for newly established UrgentVet practices across the nation.

• Report directly to the Director of Team Staffing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician and in Practice Management is essential.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a veterinary technician is required.

• Licensure/Registration/Credentials as a Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT) is preferred.

• Capability to proactively manage deadlines and deliver outcomes with rapid turnaround times.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities.

• Experience working independently with minimal supervision and comfort in uncertain environments.

• Strong written communication abilities, including proper grammar and spelling.

• Proficiency in creating staffing plans for hospitals within a specific region.

• Ability to cope with rejection in a competitive labor market.

• Flexibility to adjust focus and priorities based on the evolving needs of veterinary practices.

• Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 10% of the time.

• Strong command of the English language.
