Talent Acquisition Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Identify qualified candidates through job boards, recruitment platforms, social media, referrals, and various sourcing channels.

• Evaluate applications and CVs against job vacancy criteria.

• Perform initial telephone and video screening interviews.

• Assess candidates based on their experience, qualifications, communication abilities, and overall fit.

• Maintain active candidate pipelines for both current and future job openings.

• Communicate with candidates and provide timely updates throughout the recruitment process.

• Follow up with candidates at each stage of the recruitment journey.

• Keep precise records of candidates and recruitment data.

• Manage multiple candidates and job vacancies concurrently.

• Collaborate with the broader recruitment team to comprehend hiring needs and priorities.

• Screen candidates and align them with suitable opportunities.

• Assist with recruitment administrative tasks and other necessary duties.

• Review CVs and one-way video interviews.

• Discuss candidates' experience, availability, salary expectations, and roles.

• Facilitate candidate matching, interview preparation, interview execution, and feedback processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in recruitment.

• Experience in recruiting within healthcare, childcare, education, social care, or related fields is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of professional communication and candidate screening techniques.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Confidence in conducting telephone and video interviews.

• Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities.

• Strong follow-up and follow-through skills.

• Proficiency in using spreadsheets, ATS platforms, recruitment systems, and online sourcing tools.

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to handle multiple candidates and job vacancies simultaneously.

• Self-driven and capable of working independently.

• Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.

• Availability to work during US hours (9am–5pm EST).

• Willingness to operate as an independent contractor, including agreement on hours, pay, and contract terms.
