This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +4 more states.
• Take ownership of the complete recruiting process for designated high-volume and moderately complex positions, starting from intake to offer acceptance.
• Conduct organized pre-screening interviews, recommend suitable candidates, manage the selection process, support offer strategies, and ensure precise documentation in the ATS along with candidate dispositioning.
• Create and implement targeted sourcing strategies specific to roles, utilizing job boards, referrals, social media, community partnerships, local outreach, talent communities, and approved AI-assisted tools.
• Establish proactive talent pipelines for roles that are recurrent and challenging to fill.
• Represent the credit union at job fairs and community events when necessary.
• Facilitate intake and calibration discussions with hiring managers; clarify success profiles, qualifications, interview plans, and selection criteria.
• Provide market insights regarding candidate availability, sourcing challenges, competitive compensation, and timelines.
• Offer candidate recommendations and maintain continuous communication regarding applicant progress to hiring managers.
• Implement uniform, job-related screening and selection practices, ensuring adherence to hiring regulations.
• Assist in documentation and readiness for audits concerning hiring processes.
• Track pipeline health, requisition aging, source effectiveness, interview conversion rates, offer acceptance, and candidate flow.
• Identify obstacles and suggest enhancements to sourcing and recruiting process execution.
• Provide regular updates to People Services Leadership.
• Ensure timely, clear, and professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Collaborate with TA Operations and employer brand resources to emphasize Nuvision’s employee value proposition and candidate experience standards.
• Maintain confidentiality, represent the Credit Union with professionalism, and undertake related duties.
• Engage in process improvements, structured assessment design, technology adoption, specialist training, and approved AI-enabled recruiting initiatives.
• Share effective sourcing techniques and offer informal guidance to Talent Acquisition Specialist I or TA Coordinator team members.
• Three to five years of comprehensive recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including high-volume, multi-site, and multi-state recruitment.
• Proficiency with ATS platforms, sourcing tools, job boards, and candidate communication tools.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and competence in standard office software.
• Experience working with third-party vendors/agencies.
• Strong knowledge of talent acquisition practices, structured screening and interviewing, EEO and candidate disposition requirements, multi-state hiring considerations, records retention, and basic compensation and offer processes.
• Working understanding of AI-enabled recruiting tools, candidate assessment risks, candidate experience, and principles of employer branding.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of state and federal employment/labor laws and statutes, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, DOL regulations, Affirmative Action, EEOC, and HR policies and practices.
• Strong skills in sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, stakeholder communication, prioritization, negotiation, and follow-up.
• Ability to interpret basic recruiting data, identify pipeline issues, and offer practical solutions.
• Advanced proficiency with ATS/HRIS, LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools, Microsoft 365 (including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams), and web-based recruiting applications.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple requisitions with a keen eye for detail and quality of service.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and adhere to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated capacity to independently manage relationships with hiring managers and requisition portfolios.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate recruitment data and metrics.
• Prior experience in a financial institution is preferred.
• Understanding of credit union operations or roles within the financial industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
