This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process for relief DVM and W2 employed DVM candidates within the designated geographic area, encompassing sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, and negotiation of offers.
• Develop and sustain both active and passive pipelines of DVM candidates through targeted outreach initiatives and email campaigns.
• Identify potential new DVM candidates while consistently updating the existing candidate pool.
• Manage the communication and expectations between candidates and hiring managers effectively.
• Take ownership of candidate activity, pipeline health, and market coverage for veterinarian positions in the assigned region.
• Ensure precise maintenance of ATS/CRM candidate and lead information.
• Successfully fill DVM roles with an emphasis on appropriate placement and retention strategies.
• Report on requisition status and any process impediments to senior recruiting and operations leadership.
• Collaborate with credentialing, onboarding, and HR teams to ensure compliance and readiness for relief professionals.
• Anticipate staffing needs and devise proactive relief coverage strategies in collaboration with recruiting, operations, and hospital leadership.
• Organize, attend, and staff campus recruiting events, career fairs, virtual events, lectures, and conferences.
• Present to large groups of veterinary students.
• Advocate for the Employee Referral Bonus program.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree.
• Previous experience in recruiting healthcare professionals is preferred; experience in veterinary recruiting is an advantage.
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the capability to establish authentic connections with candidates across all experience levels.
• A collaborative team player dedicated to achieving shared success.
• Strong negotiation abilities and a knack for advising candidates regarding compensation and benefits.
• Proficient in ATS/CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and various internet applications.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 25%) for campus recruiting events and hospital visits.
