This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Formulate and execute talent acquisition strategies that are in line with the organization's goals, revenue growth, workforce planning, expansion initiatives, and hiring needs.
• Lead national recruiting initiatives for external sales professionals.
• Create sourcing strategies to attract top-tier sales talent.
• Oversee recruiting operations, including processes, workflows, compliance, reporting, system management, and hiring metrics.
• Establish and sustain proactive sourcing through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, industry associations, social media, recruiting technologies, talent mapping, and market research.
• Assist in recruitment marketing and employer branding efforts.
• Manage relationships with recruiting agencies, job boards, advertising partners, background screening providers, and other recruitment vendors.
• Collaborate with Compensation, HR, Sales Leadership, Operations, and senior leadership on recruitment decisions, hiring strategies, talent market trends, and workforce challenges.
• Analyze time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate conversion rates, source effectiveness, hiring manager satisfaction, and quality-of-hire metrics.
• Develop reporting and actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Ensure that recruiting practices adhere to company policies and federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Supervise the recruiting team, providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Foster a high-performance, service-oriented culture.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be acceptable.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in recruiting and talent acquisition.
• Significant experience in national recruiting for outside sales organizations.
• A strong focus on outside sales recruitment for national sales organizations.
• Prior management experience leading recruiters and recruiting operations is highly preferred.
• Direct experience in recruiting within the health insurance, employee benefits, brokerage, general agency, carrier, Medicare, ancillary benefits, or related industries is strongly preferred.
• Proven capability to develop recruiting processes, implement standards, manage service levels, establish metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, workforce planning, talent sourcing methodologies, interviewing techniques, candidate assessment, and employment regulations.
• Experience using ATS, HRIS, CRM platforms, sourcing technologies, LinkedIn Recruiter, and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with ADP Recruiting or similar systems is preferred.
• Ability to analyze recruiting data, measure performance, identify trends, and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunity, pay transparency, and hiring compliance requirements.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information.
