This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design and execute talent acquisition strategies that align with the organization's goals, revenue growth, workforce planning, and hiring needs.
• Spearhead nationwide recruitment initiatives for outside sales professionals.
• Manage recruiting operations, including processes, workflows, compliance, reporting, system administration, and hiring metrics.
• Create proactive sourcing strategies utilizing direct sourcing, networking, employee referrals, industry associations, social media, recruiting technologies, talent mapping, and market research.
• Assist in recruitment marketing and employer branding efforts on a national scale.
• Oversee relationships with recruiting agencies, job boards, advertising partners, background screening providers, and other vendors.
• Collaborate with Compensation, Human Resources, Sales Leadership, Operations, and senior management on hiring decisions and workforce challenges.
• Evaluate time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate conversion, source effectiveness, hiring manager satisfaction, and quality-of-hire metrics.
• Ensure recruitment practices adhere to company policies as well as federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Lead the recruiting team, providing guidance, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience may be taken into account.
• At least 7-10 years of progressive experience in recruiting and talent acquisition, particularly in national recruitment for outside sales organizations.
• Prior experience managing recruiters and recruiting operations is highly desirable.
• Significant focus on outside sales recruitment for national sales organizations.
• Extensive experience in direct health insurance, employee benefits, brokerage, general agency, carrier, Medicare, ancillary benefits, or related industry recruiting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop recruiting processes, establish standards, manage service levels, set metrics, and promote continuous improvement.
• In-depth knowledge of recruiting best practices, workforce planning, talent sourcing methods, interview techniques, candidate evaluation, and employment regulations.
• Familiarity with ATS, HRIS, CRM platforms, sourcing technologies, LinkedIn Recruiter, and reporting tools.
• Experience with ADP Recruiting or similar systems is preferred.
• Capability to analyze recruiting data, gauge performance, identify trends, and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, pay transparency, and hiring compliance.
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
