This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct the recruiting function at Terra-Gen

• Manage the entire recruiting cycle from job requisition to offer and onboarding

• Create, post, and maintain job advertisements on career sites, job boards, LinkedIn, and various recruiting platforms

• Collaborate with hiring managers to grasp job requirements, set recruiting priorities, and formulate recruiting strategies

• Source and identify candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, recruiting platforms, referrals, and other channels

• Review applications and resumes while conducting preliminary candidate screenings and interviews

• Handle interview scheduling, candidate communications, feedback collection, and follow-ups

• Inform candidates about interview status and subsequent steps

• Draft offer letters and related employment correspondence

• Develop, implement, and sustain standardized recruiting processes, workflows, templates, procedures, and standard operating practices

• Assess recruiting processes and introduce enhancements for efficiency, consistency, and experiences for candidates and hiring managers

• Create and maintain recruiting dashboards, reports, metrics, and analytics related to talent acquisition

• Administer and enhance the applicant tracking system, including requisition setup, candidate disposition, templates, workflows, reporting, and system processes

• Set recruiting service-level expectations and follow up with hiring managers to ensure searches progress

• Keep track of open positions and provide updates on recruiting status to hiring managers and HR leadership

• Assist with employment branding, career fairs, recruiting events, and additional talent acquisition initiatives

• Ensure that recruiting activities and documentation adhere to Company policies and relevant employment laws

• Prepare, update, and maintain job descriptions and a job description library

• Support HR projects, process improvements, employee communications, policy updates, organizational projects, and special initiatives

• Aid in onboarding and the preparation and distribution of HR communications, forms, letters, and employee documentation

• Keep accurate employee information and HR records in HRIS and other HR systems

• Assist with employee file administration, HR reporting, audits, and data collection

• Maintain confidentiality regarding employee, candidate, compensation, and other sensitive HR information

• Provide prompt and professional customer service to employees, candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders


⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

• Required minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, or a similar HR role

• Experience in coordinating recruiting activities and using applicant tracking systems and/or HRIS platforms is essential

• Strong organizational abilities and exceptional attention to detail are required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with HR, hiring managers, and employees

• Strong customer service orientation and professional interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

• Experience in preparing job descriptions and employment-related documents

• Background in conducting initial candidate screenings or interviews

• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or other sourcing platforms

• Proficient in using an applicant tracking system and HRIS

• Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR best practices

• Experience in supporting HR projects and process improvements

• PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certifications are a plus

• Occasional travel may be required to visit other work sites

• Must be able to drive a vehicle for Company business and comply with Company’s established Driving Criteria, including holding a valid driver’s license and maintaining an acceptable driving record

• Employees must be authorized to work in the US

• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening is required
