Tableau Product Manager – English Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Tableau BI platform for a major technology organization focused on data and AI.

• Manage the architecture of Tableau content, encompassing published data sources, permissions, publisher lifecycle, and platform governance.

• Identify and resolve performance issues related to dashboards, including slow extracts, inefficient queries, and workbook design.

• Establish and uphold best practices for a large network of content authors.

• Create enablement materials such as documentation, training sessions, and guides.

• Anticipate the needs of business functions utilizing Tableau.

• Investigate and implement integrations with Tableau MCP.

• Develop or deploy Tableau skills and agent integrations.

• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and engineering to translate business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive practical knowledge of Tableau as a platform, including content architecture, governance, published data sources, permissions, and the publisher lifecycle.

• Proven hands-on experience in optimizing dashboard performance, including extracts, queries, and workbook design.

• Background in defining and enforcing best practices across a large pool of content authors, including enablement initiatives.

• Understanding of various business functions that utilize Tableau and the ability to foresee future requirements.

• Familiarity with Tableau MCP and experience in building or deploying Tableau skills or agent integrations.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey business needs to engineering and vice versa.

• Ability to work during Pacific Time hours with significant daily overlap with the client team.

• Must be located in the Americas.

• Proficient in professional English, both spoken and written, suitable for stakeholder interactions.

• Tableau certification is highly preferred; desired certifications include Salesforce Certified Tableau Consultant, Salesforce Certified Tableau Architect, Salesforce Certified Tableau Server Administrator, and Salesforce Certified Tableau Data Analyst.
