Systems & Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, and manage network infrastructure, encompassing routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

• Administer and enhance servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.

• Monitor the performance of systems and networks, proactively identifying and resolving any issues.

• Implement and uphold infrastructure security and compliance protocols.

• Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure initiatives, upgrades, and migrations.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, system configurations, and operational processes.

• Provide advanced technical support and guidance to both IT staff and end users.

• Comply with OnTrac’s Acceptable Use policy and security guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with 8 years of relevant expertise in installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, networks, and associated systems within a corporate enterprise setting.

• In-depth understanding of industry principles and terminology.

• Familiarity with standard office software and technologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to maintain professionalism consistently.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, prioritize tasks, and ensure accuracy.
