Systems and Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, which includes routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

• Administer and optimize servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.

• Monitor system and network performance while proactively identifying and resolving issues.

• Implement and uphold infrastructure security and compliance measures.

• Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations.

• Maintain thorough documentation for network architecture, system configurations, and processes.

• Provide advanced technical support and guidance to IT personnel and end users.

• Adhere to OnTrac’s Acceptable Use policy and security protocols.

• Analyze complex issues and deliver innovative solutions to challenging infrastructure problems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with 8 years of relevant experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, networks, and associated systems within a corporate enterprise environment.

• Extensive understanding of industry principles and terminology.

• Proficiency in standard office software and technologies.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to maintain professionalism at all times.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Capacity to work in a fast-paced setting, prioritize tasks, and ensure accuracy.
