This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Oversee and sustain all production system equipment and services.
• Guarantee 24/7 accessibility of Bullhorn production application environments.
• Engage in rotating weekend on-call duties.
• Guide and mentor other Systems Engineers within the team.
• Record technical environments, processes, and procedures.
• Offer direct assistance to Software Development, Quality Engineering, Customer Support, Professional Services, and third-party vendors to resolve production issues.
• Maintain network and system configurations globally across multiple data centers.
• Create system analysis and reporting tools, along with tools for task automation.
• Take part in planning and executing new product deployment and enhancement initiatives.
• Ensure readiness in servicing the product.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Windows Server (Server 2016/2019/2022, 2025, Windows Server Core).
• Familiarity with CentOS/RHEL or Debian Linux.
• Experience with VMware ESX/ESXi.
• Knowledge in managing containerized environments (Docker & Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure supporting .Net Framework, .NET Core, or IIS-based applications.
• Background in working within an iSCSI SAN environment.
• Skilled in Log Management using ELK, Splunk, Sumo Logic, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in scripting languages, such as PowerShell, C#, Python, and Batch.
• Experience in automation and managing extensive server environments.
• Strong understanding of RAID storage.
• Previous on-call duty experience.
• Preferred background in SaaS and/or high-traffic website environments.
• Bonus experience with LDAP/Kerberos authentication against Microsoft Active Directory.
• Familiarity with NAS technologies (FCP, CIFS, NFS, etc.).
• Experience with Open Source Projects.
• Proficient in Ansible/Puppet/CFEngine.
• Knowledge of Windows Failover Clustering and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Experience with the System Center suite (SCCM, SCOM) or Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Familiarity with PowerShell DSC/Ansible/Puppet for Windows environments.
