Freelance Camera Tracking System Engineer - Tennis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Install camera and cabling infrastructure around tennis courts, including fibre, CAT6, and power cables.

• Ensure that equipment is installed securely, routed safely, and positioned for optimal performance.

• Mount and secure cameras in specified locations.

• Assist with the setup of ancillary equipment and make necessary adjustments for reliable event coverage.

• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during event operations.

• Collaborate with technical teams and event coordinators for seamless execution.

• Safely dismantle, maintain, and pack up equipment post-event.

• Adhere to health and safety protocols, maintaining hazard-free equipment, cables, and work areas.

• Follow instructions from supervisors.

• Work alongside operators, technicians, and event staff to ensure efficient setup and delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Located in or around Costa do Sauípe.

• Available for the entire event duration from 28 October to 8 November.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to function effectively as part of a team.

• Capacity to work in physically demanding conditions and handle equipment safely.

• Comfortable working at heights, including on ladders and catwalks.

• Strong practical problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work efficiently under time constraints.

• Flexibility to adapt to event schedules, including early starts, late finishes, and weekends when necessary.

• Previous experience in rigging at sports events, live broadcasts, concerts, or similar live event settings (preferred).

• Familiarity with camera rigging systems, mounting solutions, and related hardware (preferred).

• Understanding of safe working practices concerning rigging, cable management, and working at height (preferred).

• Experience with fibre optic and network cabling installations (preferred).
