Senior Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage the strategy and planning for data and analytics platform technologies.

• Supervise the implementation of data and analytics platform technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience in Information Technology, OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses with 6 years of experience in Information Technology, OR 8 years of experience in Information Technology.

• Familiarity with application configuration.

• Understanding of Big Data Analytics, including HAVeN, HADOOP, Autonomy, and Vertica.

• Knowledge of Cloud computing and technologies such as SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS.

• Experience with Integration Technologies like Tibco, Informatica, and CAS.

• Proficiency in Mobile technologies including Phonegap, iOS, Android, Java, and HTML5.

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as BASH, PERL, PYTHON, and RUBY.

• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOAP/REST).

• Familiarity with Web Technologies, including HTML, CSS, Java, ASP.Net, PHP, Ruby, and C#.

• Skill in rapid prototyping.

• Experience in requirements definition and management.

• Knowledge of SDLC Methodology, including Agile, Scrum, and Iterative Development.

• Ability to manage system performance.

• Strong conceptual and creative thinking abilities.

• Proficient in problem-solving and analytical thinking.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field in Information Technology.

• Strong execution capabilities.

• Experience in project and task management and delivery.

• Skills in estimating and forecasting.

• Knowledge or experience with Data Virtualization, specifically Denodo Technologies.

• Knowledge or experience with ETL/ETL Tools such as Talend, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, and DataStage.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Toolkit including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.

• Experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
