Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee system integrations and technical implementations that support essential operational workflows.

• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex issues related to systems.

• Address application errors and ensure the reliable and efficient operation of systems.

• Develop and sustain custom integrations that link systems such as NetSuite, Shopify, and third-party logistics (3PLs).

• Establish technical strategies and project directions for designated initiatives.

• Recognize recurring issues and deploy long-term solutions.

• Propel process and system enhancements throughout the technology stack.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on system architecture and data flows.

• Collaborate with Engineering teams to design and implement internal tools.

• Partner with stakeholders in wholesale, logistics, and operations to provide scalable solutions.

• Prioritize issues based on severity and oversee resolution timelines.

• Engage in technical discussions and influence system-level decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional English communication abilities.

• Over 3 years of pertinent experience in systems engineering, integrations, or backend development.

• Capacity to deconstruct complex problems and independently devise solutions.

• Extensive experience with integrations, APIs, and data structures, including JSON.

• Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite, web platforms such as Shopify, and 3PLs.

• Strong analytical abilities and the skill to navigate ambiguous requirements and define solutions.

• Demonstrated capability to troubleshoot intricate system issues and identify root causes.

• Understanding of system interactions and the impacts on upstream and downstream processes.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.

• Ability to work with a remote team and function independently.

• Availability during core business hours of 9 AM–5 PM PST, Monday–Friday.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with integration platforms like Celigo.

• Nice-to-have: Experience in optimizing legacy systems and enhancing system performance.
