Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Diagnose and address urgent client issues that necessitate advanced technical expertise

• Resolve problems escalated from Desktop Support, serving as the highest tier of client assistance

• Contribute to the training and development of Desktop Support staff

• Aid in the design and execution of both new and ongoing client projects

• Assess client environments and provide both technical and business recommendations

• Administer, install, and configure Windows Server environments

• Oversee Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams environments

• Manage VMware and Hyper-V environments

• Address and resolve issues for executive clients

• Coordinate high-level issues with DMS, ISP, proprietary software, and PCI compliance vendors

• Supply updated ticket action plans to Account Managers

• Oversee security incidents reported from the SOC

• Execute client migrations for various technologies or hardware

• Maintain key client relationships and act as a liaison for client IT administrators

• Manage enterprise AI solutions for both end users and IT administrators

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced technical expertise for top-tier Service Desk support

• Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS/UNC file shares, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange/Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Windows 365 Cloud PC, AVD, Cisco, Meraki, VMware, Hyper-V, Kaseya, and DNS-based web filtering

• Proficiency in PowerShell, batch files, Power BI, and Power Automate

• Capability to administer, install, and configure Windows Server

• Proficiency in managing Microsoft cloud services, Exchange, VMware, and Hyper-V environments

• Ability to troubleshoot firewall rules and Barracuda email spam filtering

• Skills to install and configure SSL certificates

• Expertise in managing mailboxes, groups, mail flow, connectors, email address policies, encryption, public folders, and virtual directories

• Ability to interpret network maps and PRTG monitors

• Proficient in managing PCs and servers using RMM automation

• Possession of Microsoft 365 Certified, Microsoft Azure Certified, or CISSP certifications
