System Engineering Manager, SLED – West

• Offer technical leadership and domain knowledge in storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, as well as DAS, NAS, and SAN solutions.

• Empower the team to gather requirements and convert customer needs into innovative solutions.

• Prepare RFI and RFP responses as required.

• Cultivate opportunities for interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation.

• Encourage roadmap discussions and planning exchanges.

• Stay informed on market trends and the competitive landscape to foster thought leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of management experience leading high-performing Sales Engineers in Enterprise Accounts.

• More than 10 years of experience in supporting sales of storage, networking, or systems solutions for large accounts and data centers.

• Profound understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions architecture, design, and implementation.

• Experience in formulating team strategies to attract new prospects and convert them into clients.

• Familiarity with storage architectures, including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.

• Strong expertise in Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers.

• Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking principles.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
