Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and implement real-time automation controls and information solutions.

• Generate conceptual solutions during the project design phase.

• Program, troubleshoot, and validate systems.

• Develop project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documentation, case studies, and various other documents.

• Commission new solutions at client locations and identify opportunities for enhancement.

• Formulate methodologies and address complex challenges.

• Acquire knowledge of new technologies.

• Provide mentorship to colleagues in areas of expertise.

• Engage in automation, smart manufacturing, and industrial information solutions for Fortune 100 companies and well-known consumer brands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or anticipated completion of a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering Technology degree.

• A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience with some or all of the specified technologies.

• Proficiency in PLC and PAC programming, HMI application design, SCADA design, network design, database design, and vision system design.

• Detail-oriented, conscientious, analytical, focused, and self-motivated individual who is a fast learner.

• Outstanding communication abilities – both verbal and written.

• Possession of a valid Driver’s License.

• Full-time access to a personal vehicle.

• Willingness to travel 30-50% within the USA.

• Preferred experience in the food and beverage and life sciences sectors.

• Familiarity with DeviceNet, ControlNet, DH+, Remote IO, Modbus is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience with Python, Historian (PI System), and databases is a plus.
