Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and implement real-time automation controls along with information solutions.

• Participate in project conceptualization during the design phase.

• Program, troubleshoot, and validate systems.

• Produce project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documentation, case studies, and various other documentation.

• Commission new solutions at client locations and identify areas for improvement.

• Develop methodologies to address and resolve complex challenges.

• Acquire knowledge of emerging technologies.

• Provide mentorship to colleagues within your areas of expertise.

• Create real-time automation solutions ranging from the manufacturing plant floor to enterprise level.

• Work collaboratively with clients to tackle manufacturing and industrial information challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or imminent completion of a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering Technology degree.

• Academic or professional experience with some or all of the specified technologies.

• Proficiency in PLC/PAC programming, HMI, SCADA, system networking, vision platforms, or other relevant automation technologies.

• Detail-oriented, conscientious, analytical, focused, and a self-motivated individual who learns quickly.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• A valid Driver’s License.

• Full-time access to a personal vehicle.

• Candidates must reside in eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland.

• Willingness to travel 30-50% within PA, NJ, NY, DE, and MD.

• Employee will be affiliated with and report to Grantek’s Allentown, PA office.
