Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and execute real-time automation controls and information solutions.

• Envision solutions during the project design phase.

• Program, troubleshoot, and validate systems.

• Generate project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documentation, case studies, and additional documentation.

• Implement new solutions at client locations.

• Recognize opportunities for enhancements.

• Develop methodologies and address complex challenges.

• Acquire knowledge of new technologies.

• Guide colleagues by sharing relevant expertise and insights.

• Collaborate on automation solutions from the manufacturing plant floor to enterprise level.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or impending completion of a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering Technology degree.

• Academic or professional experience with some or all of the specified technologies.

• Proficiency in PLC and PAC programming, HMI application design, SCADA design, network design, database design, or vision system design.

• Detail-oriented, diligent, analytical, focused, and self-motivated individual who learns quickly.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Full-time availability of a personal vehicle.

• Candidate must reside in eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland.

• Willingness to travel up to 30–50% within PA, NJ, NY, DE, and MD.

• Employee will be affiliated with and report to Grantek's Allentown, PA office.
