Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and execute real-time automation controls and information solutions.

• Generate innovative solutions during the project's design phase.

• Program, troubleshoot, and validate systems.

• Produce project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documentation, case studies, and additional documentation.

• Commission new solutions at client locations.

• Recognize opportunities for enhancements.

• Develop methodologies and address complex challenges.

• Acquire knowledge of new technologies.

• Provide mentorship to colleagues in areas of expertise.

• Create real-time automation solutions from the manufacturing floor to the enterprise level.

• Utilize programming, configuration, and design tools across PLC/PAC, HMI, SCADA, networking, databases, and vision systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or imminent completion of a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering Technology degree.

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience with some or all of the specified technologies.

• Proficient in PLC and PAC programming.

• Skilled in operator interface and HMI application design.

• Experienced in SCADA design.

• Knowledgeable in network design.

• Familiar with database design.

• Experienced in vision system design.

• Detail-oriented, conscientious, analytical, focused, and a self-motivated individual who learns quickly.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• A valid driver's license.

• Full-time access to a personal vehicle.

• Willingness to travel up to 30-50% within the USA.

• Preferred experience in the food and beverage and life sciences industries.

• Experience with DeviceNet, ControlNet, DH+, Remote IO, and Modbus is a plus but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with Python, Historian (PI System), and databases is advantageous.
