Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage IT systems within a cloud-centric framework

• Deliver technical assistance

• Set up accounts, permissions, and hardware for new employees and revoke access when staff members depart

• Serve as the primary point of contact for systems and services

• Lead extensive cross-departmental projects from inception to completion

• Work together with multifunctional teams to address integration challenges, errors, and performance issues

• Recognize opportunities for improvement and develop automations to enhance operations and minimize manual tasks

• Utilize AI tools such as Claude and Gemini to expedite workflows

• Oversee headquarters technology, including networking equipment, conference room AV systems, kiosk computers, and shared-space technologies

• Notify about service outages and modifications

• Partner with the security team to safeguard information

• Contribute to the strategic roadmap and participate in two-week sprints to achieve quarterly and annual objectives

• Keep documentation updated for automations, configurations, and operational procedures

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in managing enterprise SaaS applications such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365

• Background in automating processes and integrating systems using Workato, Okta Workflows, or Microsoft Power Automate

• Familiarity with Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini, including prompt engineering and MCP integrations

• Understanding of SAML, OIDC, SCIM, REST APIs, webhooks, JWT, and OAuth 2.0

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ruby

• Skills in macOS and Windows administration, including experience with Jamf and Intune MDMs

• Awareness of conference room AV and shared-space technology, including Zoom Rooms and Neat devices

• Knowledge of Cisco Meraki and networking principles such as VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and wireless networking

• Strong project management capabilities

• Ability to manage urgent tasks alongside project-related responsibilities

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in customer service

• Capability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of IT operations best practices

• At least 5 years of professional IT experience, including a minimum of 2 years in an engineering or sysadmin role

• A college degree or equivalent expertise

• Authorized to work in the United States; immigration visa sponsorship is not available
