Systems Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and implement real-time automation solutions ranging from the manufacturing floor to the enterprise level.

• Engineer and deploy real-time automation controls and informational solutions.

• Engage in conceptualization during the project's design phase.

• Conduct system programming, debugging, and testing activities.

• Generate project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documentation, case studies, and other necessary documentation.

• Commission new solutions on client sites while identifying areas for improvement.

• Develop methodologies and tackle complex problems.

• Acquire knowledge of new technologies.

• Provide mentorship to colleagues based on your expertise and knowledge.

• Work closely with clients to address manufacturing and industrial information challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or anticipated completion of a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related Engineering Technology field.

• 6–8+ years of hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA/HMI, networking, databases, motion control, safety systems, or high-level programming.

• Academic or professional experience with Ignition (Vision & Perspective), Allen-Bradley, and/or Beckhoff TwinCAT is highly preferred.

• Detail-oriented, conscientious, analytical, focused, and capable of quickly grasping complex systems.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously in dynamic environments.

• Willingness to travel locally for day trips, with the potential for additional travel within India.
