Systems Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and implement real-time automation solutions ranging from the manufacturing floor to enterprise systems.

• Engineer and deploy real-time automation controls and information systems.

• Engage in conceptualization during the design phase of project life cycles.

• Conduct system programming, debugging, and testing activities.

• Prepare project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documentation, case studies, and other necessary documentation.

• Commission new solutions at client locations.

• Identify opportunities for enhancements.

• Develop methodologies and tackle complex challenges.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies.

• Provide mentorship to colleagues in areas of expertise.

• Collaborate with clients to address intricate manufacturing and industrial information challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or imminent completion of a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related Engineering Technology field.

• 6–8+ years of hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA/HMI, networking, databases, motion control, safety systems, or advanced programming.

• Academic or professional familiarity with Ignition (Vision & Perspective), Allen-Bradley, and/or Beckhoff TwinCAT is highly preferred.

• Detail-oriented, conscientious, analytical, and focused.

• Quick learner of complex systems.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently in dynamic environments.

• Willingness to travel locally for occasional day trips.
