Tech Lead – Systems Architect, Python, C#, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Develop robust system architectures for future client projects, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and high-performing.

• Initiate projects from the ground up, making key decisions regarding technology stacks, project architectures, and deployment pipelines.

• Convert vague client business requirements into detailed, production-ready technical roadmaps.

• Assess and comprehend existing codebases and legacy systems.

• Review cloud infrastructure setups to pinpoint bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and optimization possibilities.

• Connect software development with infrastructure management.

• Initially collaborate with the internal MSP team to gain insights into infrastructure, tools, and operational workflows.

• Serve as a technical advisor for clients and participate in discovery calls to design solutions tailored to their requirements.

• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to developers as client projects expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Python, C#, or Java, with a readiness to work across these ecosystems based on client demands.

• Strong practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience in designing distributed systems, APIs, and database schemas.

• Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Proactive and organized approach to project management.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

• Detail-oriented mindset focused on precision and quality.

• Ability to effectively multitask and manage time in a fast-paced setting.

• Proficient in managing multiple projects and adhering to deadlines.

• Strong documentation skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to provide a 1.5–2 minute voice note in English for screening purposes.

• Access to a personal computer with internet connectivity to fulfill job responsibilities.

• Comfortable using Hubstaff for time tracking.
