This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the operations of financial systems and technologies, such as Workday, UKG, and OnBase.

• Aid in system upgrades, maintain data integrity, address user concerns, and enhance financial system workflows through automation and technical solutions.

• Offer system consultation, advice, and assistance to Finance and stakeholder groups.

• Act as the primary contact and subject matter expert for Workday functional areas, including Accounting, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Treasury, and Financial Reporting.

• Facilitate configuration changes and propose process enhancements and innovative solutions.

• Collaborate with IT personnel and third-party consulting firms on cases, testing, business process modifications, and production approvals.

• Manage system updates, enhancements, testing, validation, and overall system performance.

• Communicate the status of cases and projects, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

• Uphold Workday Finance data integrity and fulfill data correction, organizational moves, and position update requests.

• Function as the Finance Systems Administrator for Workday Finance workstreams.

• Diagnose and independently resolve issues arising from process failures.

• Assist in the month-end closing process and uphold the Workday close schedule.

• Maintain FDM structures, including ledger accounts, spend categories, cost centers, locations, companies, and cost center managers.

• Support the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of allocations and EIBs.

• Create or upload EIB files in Workday and execute data validation.

• Train Finance users on Workday functionalities, system security, user access, and system modifications.

• Develop General Ledger user job aids.

• Collaborate with Finance leaders and stakeholders to create and implement solutions, as well as coordinate or lead projects.

• Adhere to Wellstar policies, work standards, and code of conduct.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in technology and/or healthcare.

• Proficient in ERP systems and/or Workday Finance Workstreams.

• Strong abilities in project and resource planning.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High attention to detail with the capability to investigate and resolve issues.

• Sound judgment in evaluating situations and challenges.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Capacity to work independently within a team setting.

• Exceptional rapport and relationship-building abilities.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Intermediate proficiency in SQL.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.
