This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead the development, integration, and validation of multi-domain mission systems for aircraft and ground stations tailored for U.S. military clients.
• Revolutionize program earned value and cost account reporting via innovative methods and tools while adhering to EVM principles and best practices.
• Propel continuous improvement efforts to optimize cost management and boost program performance.
• Provide forward-looking indicators for anticipated performance and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define work scope, timelines, and resource needs.
• Engage with finance, program management, supply chain, engineering, clients, subcontractors, and executive leadership.
• Oversee comprehensive solution development from CONOPS through to validation.
• Arrange and manage lab setup, configuration control, and testing procedures.
• Take ownership of the preparation, cost, and schedule for design reviews, integration, dry runs, and formal qualification testing.
• Guide decision-makers with suggested actions for intricate challenges.
• Proven experience managing control accounts in EV-compliant environments, such as ANSI-748, on large defense programs exceeding $1 billion.
• Demonstrated leadership of CAMs, IPTLs, and/or project engineers with accountability for scope, schedule, and cost.
• Strong proficiency in earned value methodologies, including baseline management, variance analysis, CPI/SPI interpretation, EAC forecasting, and corrective action planning.
• Solid understanding and application of Agile principles, rolling wave planning, and detailed planning methodologies.
• Hands-on experience across the entire Systems Engineering V lifecycle, from CONOPS development to sustainment.
• Capability to lead financial and scheduling planning and reporting for multidisciplinary design teams.
• Typically requires a STEM degree along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 7 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• An active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required before the start date.
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance within one year post-start.
• Familiarity with RAYTHEON toolsets and methodologies, including PMX, GEMs, and RLPM.
• EV and/or PM6 certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience with Survivable Mobile Command Center architectures and operations.
• Background in supporting software and hardware development.
• Knowledge of system or application integration.
• Experience with SATCOM, LOS/BLOS, AEHF, or V/UHF communications radios and systems.
• Familiarity with computer networking for ground-based, ship, submarine, or airborne platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting.
