Systems Analyst – IBM MQ, WebSphere

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, manage, and provide support for IBM MQ environments and WebSphere cells (Network Deployment).

• Maintain and support critical application environments, which includes high-availability setups.

• Automate infrastructure tasks utilizing Ansible, Puppet, and Shell scripting.

• Configure and automate WebSphere cells via wsadmin using Jython scripting.

• Develop and maintain automation routines employing PowerShell or Python.

• Analyze and troubleshoot issues within Java EE applications.

• Examine logs utilizing Splunk or Elastic Stack.

• Manage containers through Docker or Podman, including the creation of Dockerfiles.

• Conduct code version control with Git.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related discipline, or an equivalent higher education qualification paired with a postgraduate degree in IT.

• Demonstrated experience in automating infrastructure processes or managing configurations using Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools in a large-scale enterprise and high-availability environment.

• Familiarity with automation utilizing Shell scripting and Ansible.

• Proficient in YAML, JSON, and REST APIs.

• Experienced with Git, including command line operations, commits, pulls, and pushes.

• Knowledgeable in Docker or Podman and Dockerfiles.

• Proficient in PowerShell or Python.

• Experienced with Puppet, Jython scripting, and wsadmin.

• Familiar with Splunk or Elastic Stack.

• ITIL Foundation v3 or higher certification or training; equivalent documented training will also be accepted.

• Experience in installing and managing IBM MQ environments.

• Experience in installing and managing WebSphere cells (Network Deployment).

• Familiarity with analyzing and diagnosing issues in Java EE applications.

• Competent in technical IT English for reading articles and documentation, as well as basic written communication for initiating support cases with vendors.

• Experience with Dynatrace or a comparable APM tool.

• Experience operating these applications on the RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) platform.
