Systems Analyst, Cloud Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Act as the bridge connecting engineers, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders on cloud infrastructure and internal platform projects.

• Create a dedicated, structured function for analytical work.

• Engage throughout the entire lifecycle of infrastructure decisions, from gathering requirements to documenting the final architecture and process agreements.

• Collect, organize, and verify requirements through interviews and collaborative working sessions.

• Record current and target-state processes, stakeholder roles, and interaction points within infrastructure systems.

• Identify technical dependencies, constraints, risks, and conflicting requirements.

• Convert business needs into technical requirements, specifications, use cases, diagrams, and acceptance criteria.

• Keep documentation updated for processes, systems, integrations, and infrastructure services.

• Aid in breaking down initiatives into tasks that are ready for implementation.

• Document outcomes from architectural and technical discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or Technical Analyst in an engineering or technology setting.

• Strong abilities in requirements elicitation, analysis, structuring, and documentation.

• General knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.

• Experience in describing processes and system interactions using BPMN, UML, C4, or similar methodologies.

• Comfortable handling technical documentation, APIs, integrations, and architecture diagrams.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud platforms.

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, DevOps, SRE, and configuration management principles.

• Knowledge of networking, information security, monitoring, and identity and access management.

• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Miro, Draw.io, PlantUML, or similar tools.

• Background in cloud transformation, infrastructure modernization, system migration, or internal platform projects.
