This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Convert business requirements into Workday Benefits solutions, functional specifications, and system configurations.
• Design, configure, maintain, and offer support for Workday solutions centered on Benefits.
• Oversee Benefits configuration and administration, including health, wellness, and voluntary plans, eligibility rules, event-driven processes, testing, and issue resolution.
• Set up business process changes, eligibility rules, condition rules, and validation logic.
• Act as the subject matter expert for Workday Benefits.
• Collaborate with Benefits, HR COEs, Payroll, Finance, Shared Services, reporting teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Evaluate system impacts and implement enhancements for business changes, regulatory requirements, and Workday releases.
• Streamline, automate, and enhance HR and Benefits operations.
• Create and execute test plans while supporting user acceptance testing.
• Investigate and resolve system issues through research, testing, and root cause analysis.
• Design, build, and uphold complex reports, dashboards, and analytics.
• Configure and sustain benefit plans, packages, eligibility criteria, and reference data.
• Engage in project lifecycle activities from requirements gathering to post-production support.
• Assist with Workday release management.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, technical specifications, process flows, job aids, and reporting.
• Track and communicate the status of issues, enhancements, and project activities.
• Deliver responsive customer support and nurture stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, regulations, and benefits-related processes.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• 3-5 years of experience in HRIS or Workday.
• At least 2 years of experience in Workday Benefits configuration and administration.
• Familiarity with supporting Benefits Open Enrollment and annual HR programs.
• Proven experience in managing project timelines, tasks, and deliverables.
• Background in working directly in or with the healthcare industry.
• Experience with HCM configuration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Workday Benefits, Core HCM, business processes, security, reporting, and associated functionalities.
• Proficient in configuring eligibility rules, benefit events, enrollment processes, and benefits integrations.
• Capability to analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a background in performing root cause analysis.
• Understanding of system, integration, and user acceptance testing methodologies.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Workday Pro Benefits Certification is preferred.
