Systems Administrator I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee user access and permissions across various client workgroups and domains.

• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of client hardware, operating systems, and technology environments.

• Monitor server performance and address issues that impact system efficiency.

• Install server software, implement security patches, update applications, and remove unnecessary software.

• Conduct system backups and perform routine preventative maintenance.

• Troubleshoot user connectivity challenges and escalate more complex incidents as necessary.

• Clearly communicate equipment and technology details to users.

• Support hardware installations and carry out minor equipment repairs.

• Undertake more complex tasks as skills progress.

• Document work and adhere to established procedures.

• Contribute positively to the client experience.

• Foster relationships with customers, colleagues, and leadership.

• Report directly to the Supervisor, NOC.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years' experience in networking or a related technical field.

• A+ certification is required.

• OEM equipment certifications are necessary.

• Microsoft certifications are a plus.

• Familiarity with ASTEA is preferred.

• A strong commitment to service, quality, and continuous improvement is essential.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities are required.

• Capable of working independently while being a collaborative team member.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

• Ability to interpret technical procedures, business documents, and regulations.

• Practical problem-solving skills are a must.
