This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and provide support for the Netcracker Resource Inventory application, including its configuration, reference data, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with Netcracker and other vendors concerning product roadmaps, updates, defects, and new features.
• Organize, coordinate, test, and communicate changes, patches, and upgrades to the application.
• Create and implement use-case, regression, and data-validation test plans, and conduct unit testing as required.
• Address production issues, investigate root causes, and resolve or facilitate the resolution of application, data, and integration challenges.
• Provide on-call support for production applications and engage in incident response and operational support tasks.
• Ensure the integrity of logical network inventory through SQL analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and controlled data remediation.
• Assist with bulk inventory loads, migrations, transformations, and reconciliation tasks.
• Detect and rectify inventory discrepancies, missing relationships, duplicate records, stale data, and other data-quality concerns.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Netcracker, its supporting infrastructure, application integrations, and network inventory data flows.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks.
• Provide assistance to other departments within the organization as necessary.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field, OR a minimum of six (6) years of experience in supporting enterprise or packaged applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills across application, data, and operational environments.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities, both verbal and written.
• Proven capacity to work effectively with technical teams, functional leads, subject matter experts, and vendors.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and managing several operational priorities simultaneously.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex technical and data-related issues while maintaining production inventory integrity.
• Capability to work independently, make informed decisions, and engage leadership or subject matter experts when necessary.
• Experience in documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, application configurations, and operational practices.
• At least three (3) years of experience in SQL is required, including the analysis of complex datasets and data-quality issues.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Logical Inventory is required, such as with Netcracker, MetaSolv, or similar OSS/network inventory platforms.
• Experience in modeling network structures, resources, and relationships within a logical network inventory system.
• Proficiency in working within Linux environments is required.
• Experience with WebLogic Server administration.
• Skills in troubleshooting application integrations, APIs, and data flows between enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Apache and web/application server technologies.
• Experience with Python scripting or development for automation and operational tooling.
• Background in network inventory, discovery, and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Visio and Excel, is an advantage.
• Relevant certification(s) are a plus.
