Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assist Operations, application development teams, and production support teams, inclusive of Db2 and CICS.

• Facilitate non-disruptive installations of system and program products.

• Comply with organizational change management policies.

• Assess and implement new products.

• Strategize and execute z/OS installation, configuration, and upgrades.

• Install and manage SAS and BMC IOA Control products, such as Control-M/D and Strobe.

• Monitor system usage, compile reports, and identify trends or potential concerns.

• Contribute to the continuity and efficiency of mainframe operations under the guidance of senior team members.

• Engage in mentoring and training for technical development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be residents of the United States in one of the 50 States or the District of Columbia.

• Proof of US citizenship is required at the time of hire.

• Must successfully complete the IBM z Skills GSAP MSA 1 within the first year of employment.

• Experience as a z/OS mainframe systems programmer is advantageous.

• Familiarity with z/OS operating systems is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.

• Must possess work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Successful completion of a background check and any necessary position-specific checks.
