This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Conduct comprehensive requirements analysis to address project demands
• Collect stakeholder technical requirements and convert them into clear, measurable system specifications
• Distribute system specifications across subsystems and assign them to the appropriate requirement owners
• Create and oversee Verification & Validation Plans and Reports
• Coordinate Verification & Validation activities with stakeholders throughout all phases of the project
• Maintain the quality and uniformity of systems engineering outputs
• Manage the communication of pertinent data within and between the requirements management database
• Oversee and direct systems engineering tasks to fulfill project goals
• Implement and adhere to ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015 systems and software engineering lifecycle processes
• Advocate for best practices in Systems Engineering
• Recognize hazards and EHS risks, providing guidance to leaders, clients, and colleagues regarding safety and system/product integrity
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering, or a related discipline
• Significant professional experience in Systems Engineering, including hands-on involvement in Requirements Management, Verification, and Validation processes
• Background in the HVDC Power Transmission sector or a similar industry
• Proficiency with requirements management tools, such as IBM® DOORS
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary, multicultural team setting
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of working time
• High degree of integrity and accountability coupled with a results-oriented mindset
• Experience in establishing Systems Engineering processes, including Requirements Management, Verification, and Validation
• Experience in environments with low Systems Engineering maturity
• Knowledge of Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methodologies
• Experience in a consortium project setting
• Strong grasp of dependability management and relevant industry standards
• Ability to adjust to evolving requirements and priorities
