This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +11 more states.
• Oversee all benefit programs and plans, which include Health & Wellbeing Plans, Integrated Disability, Leave and Absence Management programs, Retirement Plans, Life Insurance, and Voluntary Benefits.
• Respond to and resolve employee inquiries regarding Benefits & Wellbeing.
• Manage the comprehensive Well-Being Program.
• Lead the Benefits & Wellbeing Team and collaborate with the broader HR team.
• Direct Open Enrollment, ongoing HRIS configurations, acquisition analysis, and onboarding processes.
• Supervise vendors and ensure compliance.
• Spearhead strategy and project management initiatives.
• Act as a member of the 401K Committee.
• Provide strategic insights on direction, competitive positioning, and emerging trends.
• Develop and design innovative benefits and wellness programs.
• Promote best practices, process enhancements, and stakeholder engagement.
• Report directly to the Chief People Officer.
• Collaborate with Talent Management, Compensation & Compliance, Recruiting, Payroll, and HR Technology teams.
• Oversee the Benefits & Wellbeing Specialist.
• Foster a healthy and inclusive wellness culture throughout the organization.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, along with 8–10 years of progressively responsible experience in Benefits, or a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience.
• CEBS or other equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with self-insured benefit plans is preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of HRIS systems.
• Strong operational execution and vendor management capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal laws/regulations concerning employment and employee benefits.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Outlook or other email platforms.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
• Capability to build relationships with HR business partners, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic organizational environment.
