This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Collaborate with sales teams to achieve and surpass sales targets through well-structured technical account strategies.
• Position, showcase, and devise security architectures utilizing the Palo Alto Networks product suite.
• Design intricate network security, security operations, and cloud security environments.
• Foster customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks security platform.
• Conduct technical assessments and align solutions with client requirements.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives, technical workshops, and product showcases.
• Work in partnership with Professional Services, Customer Success, Specialist teams, Customer Support, and Channel Partners.
• Articulate complex security concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
• Advocate for comprehensive security solutions and partner professional services.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging security threats.
• Contribute to personal growth, the District Systems Engineer community, and industry events.
• Develop cross-training and platform expertise spanning SOC, Cloud, Networking, and NetSec.
• Progress towards portfolio architect and CTO/CIO/CISO-level leadership roles.
• Design and architect extensive, complex environments.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships while providing consulting expertise.
• Mentor junior Systems Engineers.
• Travel within the designated district as necessary.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in pre-sales/sales engineering and/or completion of the SC Academy.
• Understanding of data networking, security architectures, and contemporary cloud computing environments.
• Preferred experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and drive new business initiatives.
• Capability to influence and secure buy-in from key stakeholders.
• Experience in creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation sessions.
• Background in selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
• Experience collaborating with Customer Support teams for effective implementation and adoption.
• Preferred experience in complex sales involving lengthy sales cycles, multiple decision-making bodies, and multi-product solutions.
• Proficient in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned district.
