This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +25 more states.
• Drive Sedgwick’s global inorganic growth strategy.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of M&A activities, encompassing acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic investments.
• Direct deal execution from target identification and outreach through due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, negotiation, and post-close integration.
• Identify acquisition targets that align with Sedgwick’s service offerings, geographic presence, and technological capabilities.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
• Develop and manage a global pipeline of M&A opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, advisors, and industry stakeholders.
• Supervise financial models, synergy assessments, and valuation analyses.
• Prepare materials for the investment committee and presentations for the board.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, human resources, IT, compliance, and operations teams on due diligence and integration planning.
• Manage internal and external resources to optimize timelines and minimize risks.
• Formulate and execute integration strategies, governance frameworks, and milestone tracking.
• Monitor post-deal performance, focusing on revenue growth, cost synergies, and strategic alignment.
• Provide updates to executive leadership and ensure accountability for value realization.
• Act as the principal negotiator with target companies, advisors, and financial institutions.
• Represent Sedgwick at industry conferences and strategic partnership discussions.
• Lead market and competitive intelligence, scenario planning, and risk assessment initiatives.
• Build and manage a high-performing corporate strategy team.
• Mentor team members while promoting analytical rigor, innovation, and professional growth.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited institution preferred.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of related experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, including at least five (5) years in senior leadership, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-border transactions.
• In-depth understanding of services-based business models, preferably in insurance, healthcare, or risk management.
• Interest and some experience in leveraging AI to enhance M&A capabilities.
• Strong financial acumen and strategic thought process.
• Proficient in PC use, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess analytical and interpretative abilities.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to create comprehensive, accurate, and constructive written reports.
