Survey Programming Consultant – Project Success

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and script intricate, multi-country surveys utilizing survey programming platforms.

• Evaluate client questionnaires and logic requirements, providing guidance on survey design, routing, and user experience.

• Perform quality assurance testing on programmed surveys, focusing on logical pathways, quotas, skip patterns, and device compatibility.

• Oversee backend survey data management, ensuring data structures are organized and formatted for SPSS, Excel, CSV, and other output formats.

• Identify and fix technical scripting errors, link tracking problems, and respondent flow issues during active fieldwork.

• Collaborate with internal Project Managers and client-side researchers to clarify project requirements and deliver timeline updates.

• Take ownership of the technical execution throughout the survey lifecycle, from scripting and logic testing to QA, hosting, and final data delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of practical survey programming experience in a market research, panel, or data collection setting.

• Advanced expertise in leading survey programming platforms such as Decipher, Qualtrics, Alchemer, or comparable ResTech tools.

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with Python or XML is highly advantageous.

• Outstanding analytical and quality assurance abilities.

• Proven history of delivering clean, error-free survey logic and data files.
