This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee multiple survey-related projects simultaneously, acting as the primary liaison for clients.
• Develop project timelines, manage schedules, and assess performance utilizing established project management methodologies.
• Construct and monitor project budgets.
• Coordinate workstreams, delegate tasks, track progress, manage interdependencies, and escalate issues as needed.
• Identify and collaborate with internal team members, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Facilitate communication with cross-functional professionals to ensure effective team collaboration.
• Offer methodological or technical expertise for quantitative data collection methods, including web, mail, telephone, and in-person approaches.
• Provide methodological or technical support for qualitative research methodologies, such as cognitive interviews, one-on-one interviews, and focus groups.
• Establish project quality assurance standards and guarantee the integrity of data, reports, and presentations.
• Draft proposals, analytical reports, issue papers, briefings, and other correspondence.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with clients.
• Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies while implementing effective solutions.
• Keep leadership informed on project progress and reporting timelines.
• Engage in business development activities, including proposal management and writing specific proposal sections.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the survey research domain.
• At least 2 years of experience in managing survey projects, which includes coordinating teams and tasks, tracking activity completion, managing schedules, overseeing project budgets, and ensuring quality deliverables.
• Over 2 years of proficiency in MS Office applications—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or other professional skills.
• Experience in managing multiple workstreams concurrently, demonstrating strong organizational and follow-through capabilities.
• Proven ability to take initiative, independently advance tasks, and discern when issues necessitate escalation.
• Exceptional customer service orientation and a high level of professionalism in client support.
• Capacity to adapt, handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and manage various activities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Preferred additional experience: 1+ year in conducting and analyzing qualitative research.
• Experience with quantitative data analysis and familiarity with statistical software such as R, Python, SPSS, or SAS.
• Background in proposal writing and/or budget creation.
• Proficiency in Spanish or another foreign language is advantageous.
