This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Offer operational support to account managers and field sales colleagues by assisting with quote development and order processing.
• Ensure compliance with government, customer, and seller requirements on orders, including DPAS ratings, deadlines, contract stipulations, and SLAs.
• Work together with Services and Project Management teams on significant projects.
• Manage order coordination for customer rollouts.
• Provide updates on order statuses, quotes, and other inquiries to sales colleagues.
• Engage proactively with customers regarding the status of orders, quotes, and additional requests.
• Assist with basic CDW and Partner badged services requests via Agiloft and Synapse/Changepoint.
• Prepare and distribute product configurations and customer quotes utilizing online tools and CDW resources.
• Process orders using SPS and AS400 systems.
• Handle web orders through the Sales Order Router.
• Enter, modify, and win bids in the Bid Router as required.
• Choose the appropriate purchasing contracts and terms during order entry.
• Maintain sales order routers and sales order manager screens on a daily basis.
• Ensure all initiated tasks are completed.
• Facilitate and follow up on Customer Relations/ServiceNow requests.
• Release orders on hold within the Sales Order Manager and Sales Order Router.
• Train and mentor both new and existing colleagues.
• Utilize contract vehicles and pricing schedules for designated customers.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of relevant products, contracts, and business segment requirements.
• Complete Partner Product accreditation to enhance solutions and services sales skills.
• Establish trusted customer relationships and act as a secondary point of contact when account managers or teams are unavailable.
• Provide relevant information to clients and account managers.
• Foster relationships with internal departments.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience with a strong sense of urgency.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Operations or Sales.
• An Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Effective interpersonal skills with the flexibility to adapt style based on the audience.
• Capability to cultivate trusted relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Proficient in balancing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving business needs while meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, build relationships, take initiative, and solve problems creatively.
• Proven capacity to deliver outstanding customer interactions.
• Track record of successfully completing special projects.
• For CDW colleagues, a minimum “Exceeded Expectations” PMP evaluation for at least 2 consecutive years.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
• Preferred: Yellow Belt Certification.
• Preferred: Partner Certification(s).
• Preferred: Previous experience selling computer hardware, software, solutions, or services.
• Preferred: Certifications in Advanced Technology.
• Preferred: Working knowledge of AS400/SPS, Certinia, and CPQ.
• Preferred: Ability to independently deliver quality work and achieve high customer satisfaction on bi-annual effectiveness surveys.
• Annual bonus target of $30,000, subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
