This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee multiple survey-related projects simultaneously while acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Develop project plans, manage timelines, and assess performance metrics.
• Create and monitor project budgets effectively.
• Coordinate workflows, dependencies, actions, and escalation processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Lead cross-functional professional teams and foster collaboration.
• Offer methodological and technical support for quantitative data collection initiatives.
• Provide methodological and technical expertise for qualitative research, including cognitive interviews, one-on-one interviews, and focus group discussions.
• Establish project quality assurance protocols to ensure the integrity of data, reports, and presentations.
• Prepare proposals, analytical reports, issue papers, briefings, and other correspondence.
• Build and nurture client relationships.
• Identify potential risks and implement solutions to maintain project timelines.
• Keep leadership informed about project status and progress.
• Engage in business development activities, proposal management, and writing proposal sections.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in the field of survey research.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing survey projects, which includes coordinating teams and tasks, tracking activity completion, overseeing schedules, monitoring project budgets, and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
• Over 2 years of proficiency with MS Office applications—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or comparable professional skills.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and progressing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow through on tasks.
• Capability to take ownership of tasks, drive them forward independently, and identify when issues need to be escalated.
• Proven customer service skills and professionalism in client support.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience conducting and analyzing qualitative research.
• Preferred: A master’s degree.
• Ability to adapt, multitask, prioritize, and manage various activities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with quantitative data analysis and statistical software such as R, Python, SPSS, or SAS.
• Familiarity with proposal writing and/or budget development.
• Proficiency in Spanish or another foreign language is advantageous.
